Casino Systems Project Manager
JOB OVERVIEW
Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced Casino Systems Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a product or service project for a client, from inception to installation. Installations may involve acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software systems, system integration or consulting projects/engagements. The successful candidate will lead a variety of different types of projects including launching new products and services, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments. Responsibility for other business processes and applications may change as business conditions warrant.
Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of dedicated project management experience leading information technology (IT) projects to be considered for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
End-to-End Project Execution: Drive the delivery of new and enhanced gaming system solutions focused on boosting customer satisfaction and operational performance through technology.
Schedule & Budget Oversight: Own project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure key milestones and deliverable goals are met on time and within scope.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Facilitate alignment and extensive interaction across multidisciplinary teams—including Sales, Systems Engineering, Services Consultants, and Product Development.
Technical & Stakeholder Management: Apply project management methodologies to balance competing technical interests, navigate project risks, and run high-level internal stakeholder meetings.
Business Process Mapping: Collaborate with business partners to analyze current ("as-is") operational workflows and design optimized future-state ("to-be") business processes.
Technical & System Documentation: Coordinate comprehensive documentation requirements for system conversions, software upgrades, third-party interfaces, business logic, reporting, and workflow forms.
Client Enablement: Assist with configuring proprietary software platforms and conducting hands-on training sessions for client operational teams as needed.
Flexible Work & Travel Model: Work effectively in a hybrid setup (remote and on-site at client locations), maintaining availability for mandatory project travel.
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
5+ years project management experience managing information technology (IT) based projects.
Demonstrated experience managing and delivering multiple, highly technical projects—often concurrently—across cross-functional business and engineering teams.
Proven track record in gathering, documenting, assimilating, estimating, and prioritizing technical requirements based on business input.
Practical familiarity with established project management frameworks (e.g., PMI methodologies or SAP) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
Working knowledge of networked systems, IT inventory management, and technical platform deployments.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven expertise in group meeting facilitation and stakeholder presentations.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

PMP desired but not essential
Gaming operations experience preferred
Ideally has knowledge of gaming industry, gaming regulations, casino operations and or slot technical ability
Operational knowledge of standalone networked and wireless gaming devices.
Exposure to SAP Project Systems good-to-have.
Exposure to PPM good-to-have.
