Category Manager – Overseas
- Lead direct and indirect procurement activities for Southeast Asia, Australia, and South Korea, including developing and executing regional sourcing strategies covering supplier identification, evaluation, selection, contract negotiation, and performance management.
- Act as the technical and commercial liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders (Sales, Project, Engineering, Plant, Finance, etc.), ensuring clear communication of requirements and driving continuous improvement in supply quality, delivery, and cost.
- Conduct or participate in supplier process audits and risk assessments, develop risk mitigation plans, and ensure supply continuity and compliance.
- Target 3~5% annual reduction on 3rd party purchasing value via driving Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives, lead alternative solution investigations to achieve cost reduction, quality improvement, or reliability enhancement.
- Coordinate regional procurement data management and process execution, including purchase order tracking, payment coordination, report generation, and ensuring accurate procurement data maintenance in the ERP system.
- Support urgent procurement needs from plants and sales companies, coordinate internal and external resources for rapid response, and continuously optimize procurement processes and tools (e.g., RFI/RFP)
