CDD Risk Analyst, Onboarding

You review potential, new, and existing merchants from risk, regulatory, and compliance perspectives. You conduct due diligence, produce risk assessments, investigate onboarding and payout blockers, advise internal stakeholders, maintain compliance with CDD and EDD regulations, execute merchant onboarding checks, and optimize onboarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence checks by gathering and analyzing information on new merchant applications
• Produce risk assessments for new and existing merchants
• Investigate and resolve merchant go-live and payout blockers related to CDD
• Advise internal stakeholders on CDD matters
• Ensure compliance with evolving CDD and EDD regulations and internal policies
• Set up, monitor, and execute merchant onboarding checks
• Evaluate and optimize the end-to-end merchant onboarding process

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a risk or compliance-related domain
• Understanding of risk mitigation and internal controls related to CDD, EDD, and AML/CFT
• Experience with stakeholder management and merchant onboarding
• Ability to manage multiple work streams independently
• Communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally across operations, commercial, product, and compliance teams
