Ensures that all billing charges are captured in an appropriate manner.

• Identifies, analyzes, and reconciles billing errors or omissions.
• Reviews patient account records and third-party payer issues.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Perioperative Services.
• Performs duties as assigned.
• Works under general supervision.
• Typically reports to the manager.

Education:

Required: Associate degree or equivalent experience

Experience:

Required: 2 to 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
