Chief Executive Officer
Role Overview
XREX Singapore seeks a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead end-to-end revenue strategy and market expansion for our Singapore entity.
As a core member of the leadership team, you will hold full ownership of the revenue P&L and oversee all commercial functions across XREX Singapore's business lines. You will be responsible for driving sustainable, diversified revenue growth while upholding the trust and integrity expected of a MAS-licensed Major Payment Institution (MPI). This is a high-impact executive role for a proven leader who can bring strategic vision and operating discipline to a fast-growing, regulated entity.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full P&L of XREX Singapore, and execute the revenue strategy across all business lines aligned with Group’s strategic roadmap and the MPI license scope for cross‑border money transfer and digital payment token services.
Develop and diversify revenue streams across existing and new products, identifying new market opportunities and business-expansion initiatives while maintaining regulatory and operational integrity.
Build and manage strategic relationships with banks (including local and regional clearing partners), payment networks, and digital-asset partners.
Provide the Board and Group leadership with clear visibility into revenue performance, pipeline, KPIs, risks, and opportunities.
Help shape XREX Singapore's long-term business model as it evolves and grows.
Oversee the Compliance team so that all commercial initiatives, client onboarding, and product offerings meet AML/CFT, KYC, and MAS regulatory requirements.
Oversee Operations team to ensure revenue growth is supported by strong and reliable service delivery.
Collaborate with the Product team to align product roadmaps with Singapore market needs.
Lead, build, and mentor a high-performing Singapore team and establish the commercial processes needed to scale.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or product management in regulated banks, licensed financial institutions, or the payments industry.
At least 5 years in senior leadership roles such as Chief Revenue Officer, General Manager, Chief Commercial Officer, or equivalent executive leader.
Proven track record of leading B2B/institutional sales and building strategic partnerships that delivered measurable revenue and transaction-volume growth.
Strong business and technical acumen, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, technological advancements, and the key players in the competitive landscape.
Solid working knowledge of the MAS regulatory framework and the Payment Services Act (PSA), with experience navigating regulated financial environments.
Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, taking ownership, and operating effectively in ambiguous or fast-changing situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Bilingual in English (native) and Mandarin (business fluent) to engage effectively with local and international stakeholders.
