Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a leading automotive group in Jeddah.

They are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will lead the company's finance function, driving financial performance, governance, and strategic growth across the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic finance
Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with its business objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on financial, strategic, and commercial matters. Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. Evaluate strategic investments, expansion opportunities, acquisitions, and partnerships through robust financial analysis. Drive initiatives to improve profitability, cash flow, and shareholder value.

Financial management
Oversee all aspects of finance, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, taxation, payroll, and financial planning and analysis. Ensure the timely preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Maintain effective financial controls and governance frameworks. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational and strategic requirements. Optimise inventory financing and capital utilisation.

Treasury & banking
Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and external advisors. Oversee funding requirements, financing facilities, and treasury operations. Manage cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange exposure, and capital structure. Lead financing negotiations for inventory, capital expenditure, and business growth initiatives.

Governance, risk & compliance
Ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations, ZATCA requirements, corporate governance standards, and applicable financial regulations. Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and risk management practices. Oversee internal and external audit activities and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Present financial performance, forecasts, and risk assessments to executive leadership and the Board.

Leadership
Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture. Drive finance transformation initiatives, including process improvement, automation, and digitalisation. Build strong cross-functional relationships to support informed decision-making across the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
  • MBA or Master's degree in Finance is preferred
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred
  • 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership experience in senior finance roles
  • Solid understanding of asset capitalisation principles
