Chief Financial Officer
Role Overview
The role is responsible for leading the organizations financial strategy, ensuring strong financial governance, and supporting business growth through effective planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.

Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory, statutory, and internal requirements.

Manage cash flow, treasury functions, investments, and financial risk to maintain financial stability.

Develop and monitor financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.

Provide strategic financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior management to support business growth and decision-making.

Oversee audits, tax matters, and liaison with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and accountability.

Support business expansion initiatives, cost optimization, and profitability improvement.
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Masters degree preferred).

ACCA qualified; CPA / CA qualification is a strong advantage.

10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Proven experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and risk management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
