Clinical Director
POSITION SUMMARY
Metrowest Nutrition & Therapy is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our growing practice. This role combines clinical care with team leadership, practice operations, referral development, and strategic growth, including development of our 40+ Adult Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). We’re looking for a collaborative, motivated leader who is excited to help shape the next phase of our practice.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead practice leadership team and serve as a key partner to the Practice Owner
- Oversee clinical operations, team development, and practice management
- Conduct initial client intakes for the IOP and assign appropriate clinician
- Build community relationships to support practice growth
- Lead the development and implementation of adult eating disorder IOP
- Maintain a small clinical caseload while balancing leadership and program-development responsibilities
Schedule
- Full-time, 40-hour-per-week position
- 20–25 hours per week on leadership, operations, and business development
- Initial caseload of 12–15 client sessions per week, with flexibility to decrease as leadership responsibilities and programs grow
Location
- Framingham, MA (3-5 days/ week 11-2)
- Flexible remote work from home outside program hours
Qualifications
- Independently licensed clinician in Massachusetts; LICSW or Massachusetts licensed psychologist preferred/required based on role responsibilities
- Strong clinical experience, with eating disorders and higher levels of care
- Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and team-management experience
- Strong operational, project-management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with program development, referral development, or practice growth
- Ability to provide leadership in high-risk clinical situations, including initiating emergency psychiatric evaluation/hospitalization under Massachusetts law when clinically indicated
