Cloud Native Architect (AWS)
Design and architect highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications using AWS services.
Lead the development of event-driven, serverless applications utilizing AWS Lambda, Amazon EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.
Build and maintain backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React and modern frontend technologies.
Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks across engineering teams.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design sessions, and code reviews.
Drive infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform).
Optimize application performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency within AWS.
Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch and other cloud-native monitoring tools.
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational excellence standards.
Lead technical investigations, proof of concepts, and technology evaluations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Expert-level experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Extensive experience building serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
- Strong experience designing event-driven architectures using Amazon EventBridge.
- Experience developing modern web applications using React.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, IAM, encryption, networking, and cloud governance.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
