Job Description:
- Investigate and assess the consumer electronics market to pinpoint potential new suppliers aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
- Initiate contact with potential suppliers through cold-calling, email initiatives, and face-to-face meetings to establish connections and negotiate agreements.
- Secure and negotiate deals with new suppliers that meet or surpass company benchmarks for product quality, pricing, and timely delivery.
- Foster and sustain robust relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring ongoing support and identifying growth opportunities.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and competitors to shape company strategy and inform supplier negotiations.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to integrate new suppliers and ensure accurate representation of their products on the app.
- Deliver regular reports on supplier activity, progress in acquisitions, and performance metrics to the leadership team.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of business development experience, demonstrating a successful track record in securing supplier deals, preferably within the consumer electronics industry.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, showcasing the capability to close deals effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed targets in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
