Position Title: Testing & Configuration Engineer

Job Location: Peenya - Bangalore

BU: Grid Automation

Mission Statement
As a member of utility communication networks portfolio. One should be strong in fundamentals of RF and Fiber optic networks for PLCC & FOTE communications and delivered and actively contribute to the testing team of Grid Automation Systems.

Main Responsibilities

Candidates should have strong knowledge of various modulation techniques, SDH/PDH network standards and MPLS-TP networks.
Candidates should be excellent in network designing and troubleshooting.
Should be able to demonstrate customer engagement and solve queries during customer FAT.
Learner who can demonstrate integration of various technologies to deliver turnkey projects.
Should have knowledge of L2 & L3 network devices.
Hands on experience in configuration Linux & Windows based servers for NMS.
Preparing network configuration according to channel plan.
Understanding application or services such as tele protection, tele operation, telephony and data communication.
Follow the key process like Test procedures ,Time sheets and STAART Metings.

Academic Qualifications and Professional experiences for CRP , SAS and Configuration Engineer

Should be a graduate in Electronics or Electronics and tele-communication engineering.
 Should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in network planning.
 Should have knowledge on Power system.
 Should have hands on trouble shooting in a network.
 Should have good knowledge of understanding the schematics of networking.
 Should have competency in networking, configuration of managed Ethernet switches.
