Summary
Communications Business Analyst leading the communications workstream on a large-scale banking transformation programme, developing communications plans, mapping stakeholders, and translating Target Operating Model changes into clear messaging. Partners closely with Programme, Change & Adoption, and business teams across cards, payments, and investment banking.

Communications Business Analyst / Communications Lead
This role will have a dedicated focus on the Communications workstream within a large-scale transformation programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that stakeholders across the organisation clearly understand the upcoming changes, their impact, key timelines and the overall objectives of the transformation.
Key responsibilities:
Take ownership of communications activities across the transformation programme, working closely with Programme, Change & Adoption and business teams.
Develop and coordinate a structured communications plan aligned with the overall transformation roadmap and key programme milestones.
Translate complex programme, process and Target Operating Model (TOM) changes into clear, concise and engaging business communications.
Tailor communications to different stakeholder groups, ensuring that the right information reaches the right audience at the right time.
Support stakeholder mapping and analysis, identifying key stakeholder groups, their level of impact and communication needs.
Coordinate communication activities across different workstreams, markets and business areas to ensure consistency of messaging.
Prepare communications materials such as programme updates, presentations, stakeholder briefings, FAQs and change-related materials.
Work closely with Programme Leads and the Change & Adoption team to ensure communications support wider change management and adoption activities.
Gather stakeholder feedback and identify potential communication gaps, concerns or areas requiring additional engagement.
Support communication around key programme milestones, implementation activities and changes to processes or ways of working.
Key skills and experience:
Strong Business Analysis, communications and stakeholder management skills.
Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Ability to understand complex business and transformation topics and translate them into simple, business-friendly communication.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with stakeholder mapping, engagement planning and change communications.
Ability to work across multiple workstreams and manage competing priorities in a complex programme environment.
Previous experience within a large-scale transformation programme is highly desirable.
Experience within banking, Cards, Payments or financial services would be a strong advantage.
Experience supporting Target Operating Model (TOM), process transformation or organisational change programmes would also be beneficial.
