Community Manager Korea
You will grow and support the Aptos community in Korea by engaging with developers, node operators, content creators, founders, and educators. You will develop community strategies, manage Korean platforms and ambassadors, organize events, answer user questions, monitor community health, gather feedback, amplify ecosystem updates, create educational content, and coordinate initiatives with ecosystem contributors and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Create a vision and strategy for sustainable community growth and development
- Define objectives and key results for weekly reports
- Onboard community members from outside the Aptos ecosystem and educate them about Aptos
- Nurture community members and convert them into project advocates
- Support Korean ambassadors through grants, resources, and other assistance
- Plan, schedule, promote, execute, and optimize online and offline community events
- Build and maintain a calendar of content, events, and activities
- Support hackathons, meetups, webinars, and conferences
- Answer technical and non-technical user questions and troubleshoot Aptos products
- Create scalable processes to support community members
- Monitor community health using tools and dashboards
- Gather community feedback and identify ways to address challenges
- Work with the Marketing Team to increase awareness and engagement
- Contribute to weekly community updates
- Help manage the Korean X account
- Develop educational content including blog posts, guides, and videos
- Coordinate initiatives with ecosystem contributors
Requirements
- Native Korean and fluent English communication skills
- 2+ years of professional experience as a community manager or in a similar position
- 2+ years moderating active Telegram, Discord, KakaoTalk, and related platforms
- Professional experience in social media, digital marketing, or analytics
- Knowledge of the blockchain and crypto industry
- Problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills
