Compliance Manager
Job Purpose:
The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that
Company complies with all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards applicable to
its operations. The role focuses on developing and maintaining an effective
compliance management framework, monitoring regulatory developments, and
fostering a culture of compliance across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and
maintain the company’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures in line
with local and international regulations.
- Conduct compliance risk
assessments and ensure proper monitoring, reporting, and mitigation of
identified risks.
- Review and interpret
relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines impacting Company's Fin-tech and
Microfinance activities.
- Prepare and present
compliance reports, risk assessments, and regulatory updates to the CEO and
senior management.
- Ensure all departments
adhere to internal compliance controls and procedures.
- Serve as the key contact
point for external regulatory bodies, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee compliance-related
investigations and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide compliance training
and awareness sessions to employees to reinforce ethical standards and
regulatory understanding.
- Monitor and ensure ongoing
adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF)
obligations.
- Support the company’s governance structure and assist in policy review
and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law,
Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s or professional
certifications such as CAMS, CCO, or ICA are preferred.
- 7 to 10 years of experience
in compliance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience within
the Fin-tech, Microfinance, or Banking sectors.
- Strong knowledge of AML,
CFT, data protection, and corporate governance regulations.
- Excellent analytical,
organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and
collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail.
