Consolidated Accounting Leader Candidate

You will handle consolidated accounting and disclosure, lead financial due diligence and M&A deal execution, assess financial risks and valuations, review transaction agreements, and manage accounting and finance PMI projects including controls and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Handle consolidated accounting and disclosure
• Execute financial due diligence and advance M&A deals
• Lead target-company financial due diligence with accounting firms
• Analyze financial risks and issues and report them to executives
• Validate the appropriateness of company valuations
• Draft and review SPAs from accounting and finance perspectives
• Drive accounting and finance projects with strategy and business departments
• Manage PMI PMO activities after acquisitions
• Standardize accounting policies and integrate and accelerate closing processes
• Drive US-SOX control construction and accounting-system integration or replacement projects
• Manage project progress from frontline coordination through executive reporting

Requirements

• At least 5 years of accounting experience at a bank, securities company, insurance company, or other financial institution
• At least 5 years of practical experience at an FAS, audit, or consulting firm
• M&A or project management experience
• Practical experience with financial due diligence, valuation, or SPA processes
• PM or PMO experience on medium or large projects or projects involving many stakeholders
• Certified public accountant or tax accountant qualification
• Experience with M&A financial due diligence or PMI consulting at a Big Four FAS division
• Experience integrating IT systems or establishing J-SOX or US-SOX controls during PMI
• Experience with IFRS-based consolidated closing and disclosure
