Construction Drafter
Position: Construction Drafter
Job Scope & Responsibilities:
Prepare and revise construction drawings, shop drawings and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare architectural, structural and other construction-related drawings based on project requirements.
Prepare layout plans, sections, elevations and construction details.
Review architectural, structural and M&E drawings and identify drawing discrepancies.
Coordinate drawings with project managers, site supervisors, consultants and subcontractors.
Update drawings according to site conditions, consultant comments and approved changes.
Prepare as-built drawings upon completion of works.
Assist the project team in drawing submissions and revisions.
Maintain proper drawing records, drawing registers and document control.
Conduct site visits and take site measurements when required.
Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with project specifications and requirements.
Assist in quantity measurement and material calculation based on drawings when required.
Perform other drafting and project coordination duties as assigned by the company.
Requirements:
Diploma / Certificate in Architectural, Civil Engineering, Building, Drafting or related discipline.
Relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry is preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Able to read and understand architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
Knowledge of construction methods and building details will be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Able to work independently and coordinate with project and site teams.
Knowledge of Revit / BIM will be an advantage.
