Construction Manager
You will oversee all phases of construction, including site development, structural and base-building work, MEP systems, interior build-outs, and final turnover. You will manage costs, schedules, quality, safety, vendors, subcontractors, inspections, change orders, commissioning coordination, and compliance with building codes and permitting standards across projects in Childress or Dallas.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction across site work, structural systems, exterior envelope, MEP infrastructure, and interior or tenant-improvement build-out
- Manage day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, and safety
- Oversee data halls, electrical and mechanical rooms, offices, finishes, HVAC distribution, and interior layout changes
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and change orders
- Conduct site inspections and enforce QA/QC and safety standards
- Coordinate with design, engineering, operations, and commissioning teams
- Provide updates on progress, risks, milestones, and cost
- Ensure compliance with building codes, permitting, and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 5+ years in construction management
- Experience with large commercial or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Proficiency with Procore, Primavera or MS Project, and Bluebeam
- Excellent vendor, schedule, and communication skills
- Ability to travel approximately 50%
