Construction Project Manager (Wastewater)
Our client is a mechanical contracting company in the metropolitan Detroit area who specializes in Water and Wastewater Treatment Projects, and is looking to hire a Project Manager. The company has been serving the needs of Southeast Michigan municipalities for over 60 years, maintaining, updating, and providing new process piping and equipment.

- Review vendor data and shop drawings for conformance to project plans and specifications
- Maintain Logs (Shop Drawings, Procurement, RFIs, RFQs, Change Orders)
- Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets
- Supervise/Manage Employees, Subcontractors & Vendors
- Coordination of the work
- Maintain relationships with Owners, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Vendors
- Timely recognition of project issues
- Review drawings and specifications with the project team and highlight any areas of concern
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager within water/wastewater industry
- Self-disciplined / motivated individual with strong verbal and written communication skills and solid organization and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to follow through and meet deadlines
- Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and schedules
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple project tasks and respond to client requests
- Knowledge of construction and scheduling techniques
