Construction Site Manager

Job Summary

Lead and manage waterproofing projects by planning, executing, and overseeing works while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and compliance within schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute waterproofing works for roofs, basements, wet areas, podium decks, and water tanks to meet project specifications
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and applicators to ensure efficient and quality delivery of waterproofing tasks
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and clients to align project goals and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, method statements, and workplace safety regulations to maintain quality and safety standards
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and material usage to optimize resource allocation and control costs
• Conduct site inspections and perform quality control checks to verify workmanship and material standards
• Prepare progress reports, claims, and variation orders to document project status and manage contractual changes

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 5–10 years of experience in waterproofing or construction chemicals industry
• Strong knowledge of membrane systems, PU coatings, cementitious systems, and injection grouting
• Ability to read drawings and technical specifications

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working with waterproofing systems from brands such as Sika, Fosroc, Mapei, or similar
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to lead teams and resolve project challenges effectively
• Ability to start work at short notice or immediately
