Consultant, Data Governance (IT Project Management)

My client is a Global Consulting Firm and they are seeking a highly motivated Consultant, Data Governance (IT Project Management) to support the delivery of strategic transformation and governance initiatives within the Financial Services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project planning, governance, reporting, and delivery activities across multiple workstreams.

• Maintain project schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, and status reports, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of project issues.

• Coordinate with business, technology, risk, finance, data, and vendor stakeholders to manage dependencies and drive project outcomes.

• Prepare project governance materials, management reports, meeting minutes, and stakeholder presentations.

• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and documentation standards.

• Organize project meetings, track action items, and support effective project communication and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in PMO, project coordination, project management, or transformation initiatives.

• Strong understanding of project governance, reporting, RAID management, and stakeholder management.

• Experience supporting regulatory, data management, risk, technology, or transformation projects within Banking or Financial Services.

• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

• Exposure to data governance or regulatory initiatives (e.g., BCBS239) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with data governance platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, or similar tools is a plus.

• Prior consulting experience will be highly regarded.
