Job Summary
Lead and develop the Quantity Surveying team to achieve project and financial goals through effective contract management, cost control, and strategic collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Quantity Surveying team by setting clear goals and driving performance to meet project and financial objectives
- Manage project profit and loss by administering contracts and controlling costs to achieve financial targets
- Establish and monitor QS and contract management processes to enhance operational efficiency and optimize resource allocation
- Negotiate and settle contractual and cost-related matters while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with contract terms
- Apply construction law expertise to provide strategic contract leadership and collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in a relevant Civil, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying discipline
- Proven experience in major LTA project
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in cost estimation, tendering, procurement, and contract administration for construction projects
- Proficient in quantity take-offs, cost calculations, and relevant construction software
