Contributions relationship manager overview

The contributions relationship manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with key contributors and content suppliers across assigned markets, including Egypt, Botswana, Pakistan, and other priority countries. The role supports LSEG's contributed content strategy across real-time and other contributed asset classes.

The core objective of the role is to strengthen and expand the contributor base by maintaining strong relationships with existing contributors, identifying new contribution opportunities, and ensuring the breadth, quality, timeliness, and competitiveness of contributed content available on the LSEG platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global stakeholders, including contribution strategy managers, content, product, sales, operations, and customer support teams, to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable contributor engagement plans. The role will also involve monitoring competitor coverage, market developments, and regulatory changes to help ensure LSEG's contributed content remains competitive and relevant for customers.

Some of the daily tasks you will perform

  • Build strong relationships with key market players (existing and new).
  • Utilize those relationships to source real-time pricing contributions in all asset classes to meet local market requirements as well as business targets.
  • Collect feedback on our proposition, areas of focus, and carry out periodic market surveys.
  • Provide support and advice around existing contribution setups and potential improvements.

Requirements

A phenomenal negotiator with at least 3 years' experience working in financial markets. Availability to travel when required for face-to-face client meetings.

What you'll bring

  • Client relationship experience.
  • Good knowledge of OTC markets with emphasis on FX/FI asset classes.
  • Proficiency in written and oral English and French languages, and a working knowledge of Arabic.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel functions and analytics.
  • Excellent networking skills and an ability to build relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to converse at all levels in an organization and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to self-manage own work for multiple projects, constantly re-assessing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, positive, with a natural instinct to help and dedication to find solutions where they are not obvious.
  • A willingness to learn and share knowledge regionally and globally.

Additional desirable skills

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, VBA.
  • Ability to withstand pressure.
