North Shore CDJR is a brand-new, state-of-the-art dealership opening October 1, 2026, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina—and we're looking for an experienced, analytical, and hands-on Controller to help establish and lead our Accounting Department from day one.
This is more than a traditional accounting role. You'll have the opportunity to build processes, establish controls, develop a team, and create the financial foundation for a successful new dealership.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and oversee all dealership accounting operations.
- Establish accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial processes for the new store.
- Manage month-end, year-end, and daily accounting activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and dealership financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
- Review reconciliations and ensure financial records are accurate and complete.
- Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to analyze dealership performance and financial results.
- Monitor expenses, budgets, and departmental profitability.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Oversee vehicle accounting, floorplan, inventory, contracts, and related dealership transactions.
- Support payroll and other administrative accounting functions as needed.
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to strengthen internal controls.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop Accounting Department personnel.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, manufacturer requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Work closely with corporate accounting and leadership to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Provide financial insight that helps management make informed business decisions.
