Coordinator, Cybersecurity Awareness and Training
Your role, your impact
Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and as a key member of the Corporate IT team, you’ll play an important role in strengthening our organization’s security culture. You’ll design, execute, and enhance programs that educate employees on cybersecurity best practices, reduce human-based risks, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Your day-to-day
Plan and coordinate Alithya’s operational activities to guarantee compliance with applicable regulations;
Contribute to the development, delivery, and maintenance of the corporate security awareness program in collaboration with the CISO;
Create engaging training content, including presentations, videos, newsletters, micro-learning modules, and phishing campaigns;
Contribute to the planning and execution of recurring cyber awareness initiatives (Cyber Month, themed campaigns, live sessions, tabletop exercises, etc.);
Coordinate phishing simulations: scenario design, deployment, tracking, and report results to stakeholders;
Monitor training compliance and track completion rates; support internal audits and reporting requirements;
Collaborate with internal teams (Human Capital, Legal, Communications, IT, Operations and Risk Management) to ensure consistent messaging and integration with onboarding programs and periodic annual reminders;
Benchmark program maturity and propose improvements aligned with industry best practices (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls);
Manage vendor requests related to security awareness platforms and learning tools;
Assess employee feedback and program effectiveness to continuously enhance the training experience.
Keys to your success
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
Minimum 2 years of experience in security awareness, training development, instructional design, communications, or a related discipline;
Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, ISO 27001 controls framework, and common threats such as phishing, social engineering, and data handling risks;
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear and engaging messages;
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and coordinate with stakeholders across the organization;
Creativity in designing compelling learning materials and campaigns;
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS);
Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including data manipulation in Excel;
Detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously and proactively.
Extra edge
Experience with security awareness platforms such as KnowBe4, Proofpoint, or Terranova;
Certifications such as SANS Security Awareness (SSAP), CompTIA Security+, or ISACA/ISC² credentials.
