Copywriter/Creative Strategist
About the Role
We’re looking for a smart, creatively restless and strategically minded Copywriter to join our creative team.
We believe good advertising is not just about writing beautiful words. It’s about finding the big idea, understanding what makes people tick, and turning a business challenge into something people actually want to engage with.
Our work spans a diverse range of lifestyle brands and projects — from larger than life sculpture installation, automobile and retail malls to property branding, integrated campaigns and lifestyle experiences. So, we’re looking for someone who can move comfortably between a brand strategy, a campaign headline, a 30-second video, a social post and a physical experience — while keeping the same big idea alive throughout.
You should be a clever writer with an analytical brain, a curious thinker who questions the brief, and someone who enjoys solving problems creatively.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop big ideas and creative concepts from brief to execution.
Work closely with the Creative and Account teams to develop integrated campaigns.
Conceptualise campaigns across branding, ATL, BTL, digital, social media, video, activations and experiential/spatial experiences.
Develop brand propositions, campaign platforms, key messages, headlines, scripts, social content and other creative communications.
Translate strategic thinking into compelling creative ideas that are relevant, distinctive and emotionally engaging.
Think beyond individual executions and ensure ideas can work across multiple platforms and consumer touchpoints.
Present and articulate creative ideas clearly and confidently to both internal teams and clients.
Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas beyond your own discipline.
Understand the commercial objectives behind a brief and balance creativity with effectiveness.
Stay curious about culture, trends, people and what makes brands relevant in people's lives.
What We’re Looking For
1-3 years of experience in an advertising, creative or brand agency environment.
A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, writing ability and integrated campaign work.
An excellent command of English with a natural flair for language, ideas and storytelling.
Someone who can write smart without being complicated, witty without trying too hard, and emotional without becoming cheesy.
Strong conceptual thinking — you should be able to come up with the idea, not just the words.
A strategic mind that can understand the “why” behind a brief before jumping into the “what.”
The ability to think in campaign ecosystems, rather than isolated executions.
Comfortable working across different lifestyle categories and adapting your thinking to different audiences and brands.
Good presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to sell an idea.
Collaborative, curious and open to ideas from people around you.
Someone who is comfortable challenging conventional thinking and asking, “Why not?”
An Added Advantage
Experience in property branding, property launches or real estate marketing would be a strong advantage.
Experience working on lifestyle, automotive, retail, F&B or other consumer-facing brands would also be valuable.
Most Importantly
We’re not looking for someone who simply waits for a brief and writes the copy.
We’re looking for someone who can look at a problem, find the insight, create the idea and then figure out how that idea can live everywhere.
If you believe great advertising starts with a great thought — and that great writing can make that thought impossible to ignore — we’d like to hear from you.
