D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Corporate Attorney for their Legal Department. The right candidate will work on a broad range of matters related to corporate agreements, corporate entity formation and matters involving the Board of Directors, US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) compliance and filings and corporate financings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Familiar with Corporate legal matters
- Draft and review corporate agreements and contracts
- Assist in due diligence on corporate and financing transactions
- Assist in the formation, management and compliance related to corporate entities
- Prepare materials for the Board of Directors in a NYSE publicly listed company
- Work on SEC filings and compliance matters
- Review and work with a team on financing matters
- Looking for specific experience and/or a combination of corporate experiences in the listed duties
- Regular and reliable attendance
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain current knowledge of new laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the company, and assist with the development of policies and training as needed
