Costing Senior Analyst

Job purpose
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and motivated Costing Senior Analyst to join our team. To ensure accurate product costing and fixed asset management by developing cost standards, analyzing production costs and variances, monitoring CAPEX and Asset Under Construction, capitalization, and supporting financial reporting, inventory control, and audit compliance. The job holder will be based in our manufacturing site in Al Obour City and will be reporting to the Head of Finance TechOps.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop cost standards for materials and labor. Design and implement cost accounting systems. Analyze production costs and recommending changes.
- Keep track of product costs by reviewing production orders, bills of materials, productivity, and efficiency, as well as cost studies for new products.
- Create approved AUC on SAP based on approved CAPEX and control its expenditures to ensure project completion and AUC (Assets under construction) capitalization.
- Maintain control over the fixed asset cycle by closely monitoring CAPEX spending to ensure project completion and AUC capitalization.
- Participate in monthly closing by generating an MUV (material usage variance) report to track the difference between actual and standard cost consumptions.
- Provide the external auditors by the needed evidence regarding fixed assets answering all their inquiries.
- Participate in annual and semi-annual physical count to audit a store's inventory and ensure that the stock data matching with what is in the store.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree of accounting.
- Min. 5 years of experience in manufacturing sites in the costing division
- Communication & Negotiation skills
- Collaboration & Time management
- Problem solving & Advanced excel
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Certified CPA is preferred
