Credit Manager - Secured Credit ( Kurnool )

This role involves overseeing and managing the secured credit portfolio in Kurnool, ensuring adherence to credit policies, risk assessment, and effective loan disbursement and recovery.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Manage the entire secured credit lifecycle, including origination, appraisal, sanctioning, and monitoring for retail and SME clients.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence on loan applications, specifically for secured products (e.g., mortgages, loans against property).
* Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and legal requirements.
* Develop and implement effective strategies for credit risk mitigation and portfolio management.
* Lead and mentor a team of credit officers, providing guidance and training on credit assessment and underwriting processes.
* Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signals, and initiate corrective actions to minimize non-performing assets (NPAs).
* Collaborate with sales teams to understand business requirements and provide suitable credit solutions.
* Prepare and present credit reports and analyses to senior management.
* Handle customer queries and grievances related to secured credit products.
* Stay updated with market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the secured lending landscape.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is a plus.
* Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in credit management, with a strong focus on secured lending products.
* Proven track record of managing a significant secured credit portfolio.
* In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, credit appraisal techniques, and risk management principles.
* Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for secured lending in India.

* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in relevant credit assessment software and Microsoft Office Suite.
