Credit Manager - Secured Credit (LB Nagar )

Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to oversee secured credit operations at our LB Nagar branch. This role involves managing the entire credit lifecycle for secured loans, from assessment and approval to monitoring and recovery, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Job Responsibilities**

* Lead and manage the credit appraisal and underwriting process for secured loan products, including property-backed loans, vehicle loans, and other asset-backed financing.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis of loan applicants, assessing creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and collateral valuation.
* Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and established lending limits.
* Monitor portfolio performance, identify potential risks, and implement proactive measures for risk mitigation.
* Oversee the timely and effective recovery of overdue accounts, working closely with collection teams.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent service and addressing their credit-related inquiries.
* Prepare and present credit reports and analyses to senior management.
* Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape within the secured lending sector.
* Train and mentor junior credit officers, fostering a high-performing team.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) preferred.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in credit management, with a significant focus on secured lending.
* Proven expertise in credit appraisal, underwriting, and risk assessment for various secured loan products.
* Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis techniques, and legal aspects of secured lending.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
* Proficiency in relevant credit management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* In-depth knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and lending practices in LB Nagar/Hyderabad.
