Center for Community Resources Somerset/Bedford County Crisis Intervention Services is looking for a compassionate mental health professional to join our newly expanded team. Crisis Intervention services include telephone, mobile, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referrals to community resources, and enacting involuntary commitments. Work in a supportive team environment while helping people access mental health/drug and alcohol services in Somerset/Bedford Counties.

The Crisis Program Manager provides oversight for Crisis Intervention Services including compliance, risk management, and quality improvement. Manage personnel matters including hiring, supervision and training, and performance evaluation. Responsible to monitor compliance with policy and procedure and alignment with service description. Assist program leadership in ongoing program development and quality metrics. Engage in community outreach while representing CCR within Somerset/Bedford counties in order to build provider relations. Coordinate operations, program development and executing services in line with CCR’s mission.

This position is primarily Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm with occasional evening support with flexibility to accommodate community meetings and program needs. The starting salary for this position is $62,500/year with an evening shift differential of $0.75/hr. and the midnight shift differential of $1.50/hr. We also offer a possible higher salary based on experience. Participation via the telephone in the Administrative On Call rotation will be part of this position with an additional weekly stipend to cover Bedford/Somerset after hours staff questions.

Essential Functions:

  • Management of program consisting of two locations: Bedford/Somerset
  • Engage with community partners and promote crisis services
  • Responsible for regulations and policy
  • Maintain quality and compliance standards
  • Primary liaison between CCR, county and community partners
  • Ability to work some rotating shifts.
  • Provide direct supervision of crisis specialists and ensures program meets licensure requirements.
  • Perform all duties of a crisis intervention specialist.
  • Performs daily chart reviews to ensure that clinical interventions are appropriate. Clinical deficiencies are discussed with crisis worker and documents accordingly in a supervision.
  • Ensures clinical documentation by staff meets standards via chart reviews.
  • Assists with the training of new hires and assesses ability of each worker in collaboration with management and documents accordingly.
  • Ensures adequate coverage in crisis at all times and demonstrates flexible schedule to ensure adequate program coverage.
  • Ensures all assigned performance evaluations to are completed, reviewed and submitted to HR at least 1 week prior to due date.
  • Consults with management and HR on any performance or policy violations by staff and documents all supervisions with employee to resolve the issue.


Qualifications:


A bachelor's degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, education, or a related field; AND five years of mental health direct care experience, two of which shall include supervisory experience.

A Master's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, activity therapies, counseling, education, or related fields AND three years of mental health direct care experience.

An ideal candidate has experience in Crisis Intervention Services.

Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA
