Critical Infrastructure Analyst
We are:
Accenture Federal Services—supporting federal organizations responsible for protecting the nation’s critical infrastructure sectors. We combine analytic rigor with cyber‑physical expertise to help clients strengthen resilience, reduce risk, and understand cross‑sector dependencies.
You are:
A Critical Infrastructure Analyst who understands how industrial systems, cyber threats, and physical systems interact. You bring experience analyzing risk across OT environments and critical infrastructure sectors such as energy, water, nuclear, transportation, and high‑availability facilities. You can evaluate systems down to their PLC/SCADA layer but also step back to understand interdependencies and mission impact.
The Work:
- Conduct infrastructure risk assessments, including cyber‑physical vulnerability identification, sector dependencies, and cascading impact modeling.
- Evaluate OT environments using IEC 62443, NIST SP 800‑82, and other federal resilience standards.
- Perform OT asset discovery, build baseline reports, and identify risk‑relevant deviations in industrial systems.
- Assess industrial processes across water/wastewater, nuclear operations, cogeneration plants, data centers, CCHP systems, and utility plant operations.
- Analyze threats involving state‑sponsored actors, cyber TTPs, and exploitation of industrial protocols.
- Develop mitigation plans, remediation roadmaps, and security control recommendations for critical infrastructure operators.
- Review and advise on segmentation strategies, including Purdue Model architectures, DMZ implementations, and OT network zoning.
- Use tools to assess vulnerabilities, visibility gaps, and network behavior across OT ecosystems.
- Support federal partners—including emergency management, state/local agencies, and sector‑specific oversight bodies—by producing analytic products and resilience assessments.
Here's what you need:
- 3 years of Cyber experience
- Experience in critical infrastructure resilience, risk frameworks, and ICS/OT security principles.
- Ability to evaluate OT assets, industrial processes, and security controls.
- Experience with cyber threat actors targeting critical infrastructure and their TTPs.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with CISA, FEMA, intelligence community partners, or Sector Risk Management Agencies.
- Exposure to industrial technologies across water, energy, nuclear, or high‑availability facilities.
- GIAC GRID Certification or Vendor Certifications such as Dragos, Nozomi, Claroty etc.
