About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. This is not a basic retail desk job—it is a fast-paced, high-touch account management role supporting commercial clients, house accounts, and key industry professionals.
In this position, you will serve as a vital operational partner to our senior sales team, helping manage top-tier client relationships, execute complex orders in a high-volume environment, and build long-term account loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Support & Account Co-Management
- Partner directly with top sales representatives to support their key accounts, handle order entry, and manage day-to-day client requests.
- Serve as the primary internal contact for high-value clients when sales representatives are out of the office or in the field.
- Prepare quotes, follow up on pending proposals, and assist sales leaders with order tracking and account logistics.
Commercial Account Support & Consultation
- Act as a dedicated point of contact for commercial and house accounts via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
- Provide expert product recommendations, offer inventory solutions, and proactively suggest alternatives for out-of-stock items.
- Deliver accurate, real-time pricing and availability to high-volume buyers operating under tight deadlines.
Order Processing & Inside Sales Growth
- Process complex, multi-item commercial orders accurately in our system with high attention to detail.
- Identify and capture upsell/cross-sell opportunities, volume discounts, and add-on sales during routine account interactions.
- Resolve product or delivery discrepancies swiftly and professionally to maintain uninterrupted service for our clients.
Account Management & Relationship Building
- Manage relationships with established accounts to maximize retention, satisfaction, and order frequency.
- Gather client feedback and market trends to collaborate with our buying and operations teams.
- Maintain clean, updated records, account pricing structures, and communication logs in our system.
