Cyber Security Architect

Salary: AUD 150000 per annum, Bonus

• Initial 12 months contract +extensions
• Location: Parramatta – Hybrid Work Model

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure enterprise solutions across key cyber transformation initiatives, primarily focused on Cyber Hardening and Network Segmentation.
Working with business and technical stakeholders, you will develop secure-by-design architectures that strengthen the organisation's security posture while supporting strategic technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Design secure architecture solutions aligned with enterprise standards and security frameworks.
• Lead security design for Cyber Hardening and Network Segmentation initiatives.
• Conduct architecture reviews, threat modelling and security risk assessments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, networking and project teams to embed security throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Develop security standards, patterns and architecture documentation.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks including Essential Eight, ISO 27001, NIST and Zero Trust principles.

Key Projects

• Cyber Hardening – Deliver security uplift initiatives including DLP, endpoint security, secure configuration, vulnerability remediation and Microsoft security technologies.
• Network Segmentation – Design secure network and application segmentation strategies to reduce risk, limit lateral movement and support Zero Trust.
• Support Data Remediation and Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives where required.

Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Cyber Security Architect or Senior Security Consultant within large enterprise environments.
• Proven experience delivering Cyber Hardening and Network Segmentation projects.
