Job Description
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and solutions to protect technology systems.
- Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate any incidents.
- Vulnerability management
- Security observation and cyber incident management
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design secure systems and processes.
- Provide technical expertise in the evaluation of new security tools and systems.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for security policies and procedures.
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Cybersecurity Engineer should have:
- A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with compliance standards relevant to the Technology & Telecoms industry.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in cybersecurity or a related field.
