Cybersecurity Sales Engineer (Presales)
Your role in a nutshell:
No two days are the same. You’ll work hands-on with market-leading technologies, diagnose customers’ toughest security challenges, and design solutions alongside partners—playing a central role in high-impact projects from discovery through delivery.
Major Responsibilities
Drive sales wins by partnering with partner sales teams: identify prospects, progress opportunities, and demonstrate Check Point’s value proposition.
Present Check Point at partner-led customer events, workshops, and industry forums.
Lead and co-execute POCs and assessments with partner technical and presales teams for prospective customers.
Lead value-driven conversations to identify business problems and propose winning technical solutions.
Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor for partner technical communities, answering technical questions and presenting solution benefits.
Maintain strong knowledge of cybersecurity trends and competitive landscapes to inform sales engagements.
Support partners with RFIs/RFPs, share best practices, and manage POCs to deliver excellent customer experience through the sales cycle.
Enable partners and customers on the latest security technologies through training and enablement activities.
Position Check Point products to maximize cross-sell and upsell within partner accounts.
Deliver solution designs, high-impact proposals, and customer engagements that reinforce Check Point’s leadership.
Represent Check Point at cybersecurity events and demos.
Desired Background
8+ years in technology organizations; 4–6+ years in systems engineering, presales, or partner engineering roles.
Strong customer-centric mindset and commitment to excellent customer experience.
Hands-on attitude; willing to roll up sleeves to resolve technical blockers.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of networking technologies, application architectures, and solution design.
Experience creating end-to-end security solutions across network, endpoint, and cloud.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE).
Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related discipline.
