Data Analyst
- Verifies and maintains accurate metadata in the master and control files of a database in a user environment.
- Updates master and control files as needed.
- Identifies, researches and analyzes data errors or inconsistencies within a database system.
- Recommends appropriate corrective actions.
- Will present problems to and discuss solutions with database users.
- Generates and reviews system reports.
- Responds to requests for reports or information.
- Maintains documentation on system files and reports.
- May recommend database improvements or coordinate system modifications with appropriate personnel.
- Will become familiar with operational, legacy data source systems in order to better understand analytic data lineage and repositories.
- Will engage in source to target data mapping.
