Data Analyst

Job Purpose:

The Data Analyst is responsible for analysing and interpreting large sets of data from various sources for extracting insights and document source to target mappings for BI Solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to document PLSQL queries from schemas, facts and dimensional data structures for a BI Portal Migration project.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets by examining PLSQL queries from an Oracle Data warehouse

Document source to target mappings and create specifications for migration team

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies

Collaborate with business stakeholders to document meta data and business definitions for report metrics

Create and maintain documentation of data processes, data dictionaries, and data analysis reports

Requirements:

Senior Oracle professional with Data warehouse background

Proven experience in data analysis and source to target mappings

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data and analysis to non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in Oracle PLSQL, Excel.

Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI is a plus.

Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing concepts.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects tasks simultaneously.
