Data Engineer AI Platform

You will operate and improve the StarRocks-backed serving layer supporting government cloud investigations. You will tune query performance, build reliable data pipelines, reduce infrastructure operational risk, and use AI-assisted debugging and analysis to resolve production issues in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Tune performance on the StarRocks serving layer
• Use AI-assisted query profiling to identify and fix slow query patterns
• Build and harden data pipelines for government cloud investigations
• Operate and troubleshoot the serving layer
• Use AI-assisted debugging and log analysis to triage production issues
• Resolve production incidents and identify root causes

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship
• Hands-on experience operating distributed OLAP or serving-layer systems such as StarRocks, Trino, or ClickHouse
• Experience with query tuning and performance optimization at scale
• Experience owning data pipeline reliability and incident response
• Experience using AI tools for debugging, code review, and documentation
• Ability to independently operate and troubleshoot production infrastructure
• Ability to take on-call responsibility with minimal oversight
