Data Engineer
You will build and scale the data platform, designing and implementing high-performance reusable data models for the data warehouse and BI. You will continuously discover, transform, test, deploy, and document data sources and data models. You will apply and help define data warehouse governance, including data quality, testing, documentation, coding best practices, and peer reviews. You will take initiative to improve analytics engineering workflows and platforms and engage with application developers and data analysts to understand requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance reusable scalable data models for the data warehouse and BI
- Continuously discover transform test deploy and document data sources and data models
- Apply help define and champion data warehouse governance including data quality testing documentation coding best practices and peer reviews
- Improve and optimize analytics engineering workflows and platforms
- Engage with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored data solutions
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Significant experience with cloud providers
- Strong experience modeling data warehouses and building data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with data platforms and technologies like ClickHouse Kafka and Airflow
- Experience with Python for data processing is a plus
