- Help advise mission partners at the Air Force Base on what good data products should look like, including service‑level agreements (SLAs), service‑level objectives (SLOs), availability expectations, and quality standards.
- Develop and execute test plans for data pipelines, APIs, and data products to ensure accuracy, completeness, reliability, and compliance with requirements.
- Perform functional testing from a consumer perspective, ensuring data is discoverable in the enterprise catalog, accessible through APIs, and aligned with documented metadata.
- Help mission users understand tools and methods for cleaning, interpreting, and translating raw data into structured, usable formats.
- Utilize catalog and metadata tools, automated metadata tagging services, Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir, and/or Collibra to support data quality validation and catalog readiness.
- Serve as a member of the Enabling Team, advocating for data mesh principles and supporting DME adoption by helping consumers find, understand, and use data products.
- Create and maintain user-facing documentation, tutorials, and “getting started” guides.
- Gather feedback from early adopters and mission partners to maintain a continuous improvement loop for both the data products and the underlying platform.
Here’s what you need:
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret
- Strong user-level experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Experience using data catalog interfaces such as Snowflake, Collibra and metadata tagging platforms.

- Experience in data quality assurance, functional testing, and developing technical documentation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand data from both the technical engineering and mission-user perspectives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate consumer needs into actionable technical feedback for developers.
Preferred Qualifications
