Data Modelling Manager

We are seeking a Data Modeler Information Architect to map and model a complex APAC data estate ahead of implementation. You will build inventory, lineage and source-to-target mappings and create domain models that anchor governance, taxonomy and a common commercial data platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data inventory across countries including systems, datasets, ownership and quality posture
• Model current and target data flows across source systems, country data lakes, regional platform and consumers
• Design conceptual and logical models for priority domains aligned to shared business definitions
• Define and maintain lineage and source-to-target mapping standards and artifacts as living assets
• Support taxonomy and metadata workstreams with modeled definitions and canonical structures
• Validate models with country teams and reconcile differences in standards and maturity
• Partner with architect and product teams to ensure models support delivery and adoption

Requirements

• Strong hands-on data modeling across conceptual, logical and physical modeling
• Experience building data inventories, lineage and source-to-target mappings in complex environments
• Insurance data domain knowledge including policy, claims, underwriting, party, product or finance entities
• Familiarity with modeling and catalog tools such as ER/Studio, erwin, Collibra or Alation
• Understanding of modern warehouse modeling patterns for Snowflake-type platforms
• Structured working style with the ability to explain models to business stakeholders
• Clear communication across technical and non-technical teams

Nice to have

• Exposure to data mesh or domain-oriented modeling and data product specification
• Experience supporting business glossary and metadata management implementation
• APAC multi-market experience with regulatory and language differences
