Data Scientist

Data Scientist (Marketing)
- Proven experience (3+ years) in data science or advanced analytics roles
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python (preferred) or R
- Experience with machine learning techniques and statistical modelling
- Proficiency in using data visualisation tools to communicate findings
- Experience working with large, complex datasets
- Understanding of data ethics, privacy, and governance principles
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborative environments
- Experience of applying version control in GitHub and of collaborating with others on codebases
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Written and verbal proficiency in English is required
Nice to have:
- Experience in a commercial, or education technology environment
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with modern data engineering tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
- Publications, conference presentations, or contributions to the data science community
- Experience of working with ML or AI Engineers
