Database Administrator managing and monitoring client database environments — handling installation, performance tuning, security hardening, and automation across SQL and NoSQL systems on AWS/Azure cloud platforms.

- We are looking for the Database Administrator who will work on clients’ environments in the areas like Creating, managing & monitoring the Databases. Able to secure the sensitive information.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
- Develop processes for optimizing database security.
- Set and maintain database standards.
- Manage database access.
- Performance tuning of database systems.
- Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
- Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Create automation for repeating database tasks.
- Be available for on-call support as needed.
Requirements
- Proficient in database queries, of database theory.
- Knowledge of database design.
- Knowledge about the RDBMS itself, e.g. Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
- Knowledge of structured query language (SQL), e.g. SQL/PSM or Transact-SQL.
- General understanding of distributed computing architectures, e.g. Client–server model, Cloud environment.
- General understanding of operating system, e.g. Windows or Linux.
- General understanding of storage technologies and networking.
- General understanding of routine maintenance, recovery, and handling failover of a database
- 3 to 4 years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
- Should have expertise in both SQL & NO SQL environments, handled DB commissioning & Implementations Independently.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus.
