Work you'll do

As a Delivery Senior Consultant, Data Engineering and Conversion Solutions on the GPS AI & Data team, you will be responsible for...

• Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery
• Executing data conversion activities, including profiling, cleansing, mapping, reconciliation, and defect resolution
• Developing SQL-, Python-, and cloud-based workflows that support integration, reporting, and downstream application needs
• Collaborating with functional, testing, and deployment teams to document requirements, support releases, and resolve data issues
• Monitoring data quality, troubleshooting production issues, and identifying improvements for performance, controls, and scalability

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, analytics, mathematics, or another quantitative field
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or data conversion
• 4+ years of experience writing SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
• 3+ years of experience using Python, Apache Spark, or both for data processing and transformation
• 2+ years of experience with cloud data platforms or services and extract, transform, and load or extract, load, and transform pipeline development, source-to-target mapping, and data quality testing
• Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

• 1+ year of experience supporting government, public sector, or higher education data programs
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse
• Experience with Informatica, Talend, dbt, Apache Airflow, or similar data integration tools
• Experience executing mock conversions, cutover support, and reconciliation reporting
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Cloud certification in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
