Derivative Analyst

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Execution Trader to join our proprietary commodities trading desk. You will support the team in executing trades, monitoring positions, and improving trading workflowsgaining direct exposure to risk management, derivatives markets, and global macro trends. This is a hands-on role with strong learning potential in a fast-paced and high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of trades across global commodity markets (futures, options, and derivatives).
• Monitor positions and contribute to real-time P&L and exposure tracking.
• Support pre- and post-trade analysis, reconciliation, and risk simulations.
• Stay current on macroeconomic developments and commodity-specific news.
• Help improve execution tools and internal processes.
• Work closely with traders on strategy implementation and trade idea evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Finance, Statistics).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in trading, execution, risk, or financial markets.
• Strong interest in proprietary trading and commodities markets.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel; programming (Python, VBA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with derivatives and market structure is desirable.
• Fluent in English with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset and ability to perform under pressure in a trading floor environment.
