Design Engineer
Purpose of the Role
Key Responsibilities
To develop, review, and support engineering design deliverables for offshore modular fabrication projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes, constructability, and fabrication yard requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review design and fabrication drawingsfor offshore modules, including:
- Structural steel modules
- Skids, frames, decks, and pipe racks
- Develop GA drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards.
- Coordinate closely with fabrication, production, QA/QC, and planning teams to ensure design constructability and minimize site issues.
- Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering exercises.
