DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Summary

Undertake project management and product design activities to drive product development from concept to realization, ensuring alignment with customer needs and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management to plan, coordinate, and deliver product design solutions that achieve business goals
• Provide ongoing customer support during product development and realization to ensure satisfaction and successful project completion
• Conduct detailed cost studies on machining and project tasks to optimize budgets and resource use
• Develop and manage jigs and fixtures for machining operations to improve production accuracy and efficiency
• Negotiate and communicate with subcontractors to secure reliable hardware support for projects
• Enforce and monitor safe operational and handling procedures to uphold workplace safety standards
