What are we looking for?
Arcadis has an excellent opportunity for a Design Project Manager to join our Design/Bid/Build Tool Install Program supporting high-tech semiconductor industry project. The Project Manager will support and oversee projects throughout their lifecycle ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project goals and client expectations.
This role will typically manage multiple small to mid-scale projects or support portions of larger capital projects. The Design Project Manager will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, including multi-disciplinary Design Engineers, Project Engineers, Construction Managers, and Superintendents, to help drive project execution and maintain project performance.
The Design Project Manager will also support collaboration between design and construction teams, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
This position will support our APAC Regional and Global Semiconductor projects based out of our Singapore office and travel to or station at our client project site on need basis.
Job Scope:
- Manage various size projects in the semiconductor base-build and tool install environment.
- Support proposal preparation, project planning, resource allocation, and budgeting activities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and serve as a day-to-day point of contact.
- Coordinate project execution, including scope definition, scheduling, communication, and deliverable tracking.
- Assist in reporting project status to internal and external stakeholders; maintain project documentation.
- Work with project controls and accounting teams to monitor budgets, costs, and progress.
- Support change management processes and risk identification.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project safety, quality, and execution plans.
- Collaborate with internal design, construction management, safety, and quality teams to maintain alignment across project phases.
- May provide guidance to junior staff or project support personnel.
- Represent Arcadis professionally with clients, partners, and industry organizations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of related project management experience in construction or a technical environment (semiconductor or high-tech preferred).
- Experience with CMAR (Construction Management at Risk) contract delivery preferred.
- Experience coordinating with design teams or A/E consultants a plus.
- Familiarity with EPCM project environments is beneficial.
- Semiconductor Tool Install experience within High Volume Manufacturing or R&D facilities strongly preferred.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and video conferencing tools.
- PMP, PE, or AIA credentials are a plus.
- Other duties assigned for the project by the line manager.
