Designer I

Works collaboratively on the development of original designs or adaptations. Performs complex computer aided designs with emphasis on functionality, manufacturing and maintainability. Originates designs having distinctive design features. Employs the best combination of information and contributing data to develop final design. Utilizes current manufacturing/business systems for basic cost, inventory and purchasing information. Handles special projects, as assigned.
