Deskside Support Engineer (Entry Level ) – Central Singapore
Job Description
Alphaeus is looking for Deskside Support Engineers to support an upcoming large-scale IT deployment in Singapore.
This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and entry-level IT professionals who are looking to build hands-on experience in end-user computing and IT support.
Successful candidates will provide onsite technical support to users and assist with day-to-day desktop, laptop, hardware and software-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite deskside and end-user IT support.
- Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure and support Windows operating systems and standard applications.
- Perform setup, deployment, replacement and configuration of desktops, laptops and IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot printers and other peripheral devices.
- Provide basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
- Assist users with common IT-related issues and service requests.
- Perform basic hardware diagnosis and coordinate replacement where required.
- Maintain proper records of IT assets, incidents and service requests.
- Escalate more complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
- Follow established IT support procedures, security requirements and service standards.
- Perform other IT support duties as assigned.
Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with up to 1 year of IT support, desktop support or deskside support experience are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktops, laptops and common IT peripherals.
- Basic understanding of networking and troubleshooting would be advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable providing onsite support and interacting directly with end users.
- Willing to learn and able to work effectively as part of a support team.
- Able to commence work on or around 1 September 2026.

Work Week: 5 days
